SYDNEY OBSERVATORY
Located near the historic Rocks district, Sydney Observatory is Australia’s oldest observatory. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the Observatory was essential to navigation and meteorology. Today the Observatory is also a museum with an important role in astronomy education and public telescope viewing.
